Double-Blind Process
Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout review, ensuring manuscripts are judged solely on scientific merit without institutional bias.
Expert Evaluation
Minimum two independent lactation expert reviews required. Editors select reviewers with relevant breastfeeding expertise and no conflicts of interest.
Constructive Feedback
Reviewers provide detailed, actionable comments aimed at improving manuscript quality for advancing breastfeeding knowledge and practice.
Appeals Process
Authors may appeal editorial decisions in writing with specific rebuttals to reviewer concerns and new supporting evidence.
