  • Dr Velusamy is a Senior Lecturer in Electronic Engineering at School of Engineering, Manchester Metropolitan University.
  •  Dr Velusamy has an established a track record in devising smart bio/chemical sensors and implementation of integrated biotechnological solutions for wide range of applications. 
  • Her multidisciplinary research focuses into sustainable water resource management and remote monitoring of water quality;
  •  implementation of the IOT in biotechnological applications; integrated portable device development;
  •  modified electrodes using nano biomaterials for environment and healthcare sensing; 
  • and development of wearable devices for sports and healthcare applications.
