The Journal of Death is introduces the membership program that fosters a vibrant community of researchers, scholars, and professionals dedicated to advancing the field of Death. Individual Researchers, Authors Membership

The Individual Membership is designed for researchers, academics, and independent authors who actively contribute to the scientific community. Members receive special benefits to support their publishing efforts, including discounts or waivers on Article Processing Charges (APCs), making research publication more affordable. Additionally, members may benefit from expedited manuscript processing and language editing services.  

• Members must be listed as an author or co-author on the submitted manuscript.  
• Unlimited manuscript submissions annually, except for special issues.  
• 30% APC discount for articles submitted to special issues.  
• Membership includes a certificate and exclusive access to journal updates.  
• Individual members may be recognized on the journal’s website, enhancing their professional visibility.  
   

Student Membership
JOD welcome students to apply for our Student Membership, designed to provide valuable guidance and encouragement for their research pursuits. To apply, students must submit a short recommendation letter from their department head, group leader, or supervisor.  

• Ability to publish an unlimited number of papers in our esteemed journals during the membership term.  
• Opportunities to contribute as author or co-author, gaining firsthand experience in scholarly publishing.  
• Members receive a certificate and special discounts on research-related services.  
   

Institutional Membership
Academic institutions, including universities and research laboratories, can optimize their research publication process by partnering with our esteemed publishing house. Through institutional memberships, multiple authors can publish under a single membership, benefiting from exclusive discounts and receiving a certificate of membership in recognition of their contributions to the scientific community.  
 

Corporate/Industry Membership
Our Corporate/Industry Membership is designed for private companies, biotech firms, pharmaceutical organizations, and other commercial entities engaged in research and innovation. This membership fosters collaboration between industry and academia, providing companies with the opportunity to publish research findings and case studies in peer-reviewed journals.  

• Discounted or waived APCs for employees.  
• Invitations to contribute to special issues and industry-focused editorials.  
• Members receive a certificate of membership as formal recognition of their contributions.  
   

Membership Application Guidelines

To apply for membership, kindly select the appropriate plan and send an email to membership@openaccesspub.org with the following details:  

- Full name  
- Institutional affiliation  
- Complete mailing address  
- Preferred journal(s)  

If you have specific questions or special requests, please include them in your email. Upon receipt of the required details, we will process your application promptly.  

Membership Renewal Terms and Conditions

1. Membership benefits must be utilized within the designated validity period. Unused entitlements cannot be carried forward unless explicitly stated.  
2. Early renewal is recommended to maintain continuous access to exclusive services.  
3. As a token of appreciation, existing members receive a 10% discount on renewal fees when renewing before expiration.  
4. Renewals submitted after the deadline will not qualify for the continuation of unused services.
