Leadership in Transplant Publishing
Editors are the custodians of scientific quality. Your expertise and judgment shape the journal's direction and ensure only rigorous, impactful research reaches the transplant community.
Manuscript Assessment
Evaluate submissions for scientific merit, novelty, clinical relevance, and methodological rigor. Determine if manuscripts fit JOT's scope.
Reviewer Selection
Identify qualified experts without conflicts of interest. Balance specialization with perspective diversity for comprehensive evaluation.
Decision Authority
Make accept, revise, or reject decisions based on reviewer reports and independent judgment. Provide clear, constructive feedback.
Timeline Management
Maintain efficient processing. Ensure timely reviewer invitations, follow-up, and decision communication to authors.
