Biography
Oya Mortan Sevi is affiliated with Yaşar University in Izmir, İzmir Province, Turkey, where her research focuses on psychotherapeutic interventions for psychotic disorders and schizophrenia. Her scholarly work encompasses the adaptation and validation of psychometric instruments for Turkish populations, including the Psychotic Symptom Rating Scales (PSYRATS), and the development of cognitive-behavioral therapy protocols for managing auditory hallucinations and delusions in patients with schizophrenia and other psychotic conditions. Her most-cited publication, "The effect of psychodrama sessions on psychotic symptoms, depression, quality of life, and sociometric measures in patients with chronic schizophrenia" (2020), reflects her broader interest in group-based therapeutic modalities.
