Abstract: Analyzing SNPs linked to fatty liver disease, this study finds no association with HAART‑related hepatic steatosis in HIV patients. The work underscores the multifactorial nature of antiretroviral toxicity and points to metabolic and pharmacologic contributors beyond common variants.
