Biography:

  • I am Dr. Deepak Kasote, currently working as a Scientist (SERB, India, Young Scientist Scheme) at Department of Herbal Medicine, Interactive Research School for Health Affairs, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
  • I have completed my Post-doctoral research at different renowned institute such as Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health, University of Aberdeen, UK, Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea and Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa.
  • In addition, I have also worked as a Post-Doctoral Research associate at Agharkar Research Institute, Pune, India.
  • My major area of research interest is “isolation, characterization, metabolism and health promoting effects of natural antioxidants".
