Biography:

  • Acted as a chair person in International Symposium on Bioscience research for present and future (Biomilliennium 15) held on 14th December 2015 organized by Department of Bioscience, Vivekanandha College for Women, Tirichengode.
  • Acted as a Reviewer for several papers in the field of chemical analysis solid waste to publishing Chemistry journal: International
  • Participated Two days animals census in Kodiyakarai birds sanctuary, Kodiyakarai, Nagapattinam District held on 27th and 28th January, 2015 organized by Tamil Nadu Forest Department. 
  • Attended Two day National Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Drug Discovery from Natural Products” at Thiru. Vi. Ka. College of Arts, Thiruvarur on 12th & 13th February, 2015.
  • Attended Two day Science Academies’ Lecture Workshop on “Vistas in Biosciences” at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Trichirappalli on 30th & 31st January, 2015.
  • Attended One day Workshop on “Scientific Writing” at AVC College (Autonomous), Mayiladuthurai on 11th October 2014.
  • Attended One day National Seminar on “Current Topics in Biological Science” at A.V.C. College (Autonomous), Mannampandal on 7th October, 2014.

  • Attended two days National Seminar on “Recent Trends in Biological Sciences (NSRTBS-13) at Nehru Memorial College (Autonomous), Puthanampatti on 7th and 8th March, 2013.
  • Worked as Editorial Committee member in the International Conference on “Science and Technology for Clean and Green Environment” (STCGE- 2012) at Annamalai University on 27th and 28th July, 2012.
  • Attended one day “Workshop on “Bioinformatics and computational biology” at Annamalai University on 17th February 2012.
  • Attended an International Conference on “Bioinformatics and Computational Biology” (INCOBS- 2012) and also worked as Accommodation committee member at Annamalai University on 16th to 18th February 2012.
  • Attended two days National Workshop on “Statistical Analysis of Biological and Biomedical Data” at Rajah Serfoji Govt College, Thanjore on 24th and 25th January 2012, which sponsored by ICMR-New Delhi and TNSCST-Chennai.
  • Motivated, organized and facilitated a group of several villages in Nagaland towards biodiversity conservation and declaration of few new community reserves.
  • Conducted Workshop in Kohima, Nagaland, to train the Facilitators of Community Conservation. (Many times during March, 2009 to March 2011).
